Engagement in research is strongly supported by PWA and at the same time needs to be initiated and responded to strategically and intentionally to balance overall organizational priorities and activities. This strategy aims to provide a framework to guide PWA’s research activities and support decision-making regarding potential research partnerships by:
- Clearly defining PWA’s research priorities
- Defining roles that PWA as an organization can play in research
- Defining staff and client roles in research partnerships
- Outlining key considerations and providing guidelines for assessing the quality and impact of a potential research opportunity
