In partnership between British Columbia Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC), British Columbia Mental Health and Substance Use Services (BCMHSUS), University of British Columbia (UBC) and other stakeholders, we created a collaboration to work on transformative projects to improve outcomes related to Sexually Transmitted and Blood-Borne Infections (STBBIs) for people with lived and living experience of incarceration (PWLLE-I). A key value of our projects is to ensure core work is relevant to key stakeholders by engaging them across project timelines. Key stakeholders include, but are not limited to, PWLLE-I, Indigenous peoples, members from LGBTQ2+, health care workers who work in prisons, corrections officers, and experts in serving/engaging/researching with key populations.
